Gimme all your love: Wounded Afridi tames Bangladesh in World T20

Boom! Boom! That's the only way under-fire Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi knows how to play when the chips are down. Heading into Pakistan's World Twenty 20 opener against Bangladesh, the pressure was all on Afridi to win the game for his country and the Pakistani supporters that may have been miffed by his comments about 'being loved more in India than Pakistan'.

Gimme all your love: Wounded Afridi tames

Bangladesh in World T20

A blistering 49 off 19 balls, followed by a neat bowling figures of 2 wickets for twenty-seven runs meant he covered the ground he lost in the last few days, to become the apple of the Pakistani fans' eyes once again.

Varied opinions from cricketers, fans and pundits filled the build-up to the game, but a trademark Afridi display got them all on the same page post the match i.e singing his praises. We don't know about 'love', but surely, it'll be hard to hate Afridi after today. Even Javed Miandad was seen catching a flight to India, with a box of chocolates and roses in his hands.

Twitter got the best of these opinions and reactions as Pakistan moved to the top of the group, only for Afridi to take all the lime light
